The ETON UG VAG 180 speaker is compatible with the VW Arteon, Atlas, Beetle, Passat B8, Tiguan I and II, Touran, the Seat Alhambra II and Tarraco, or the Skoda Octavia II, Superb II and Yeti. The 18 cm (7") long-throw mid-bass driver offers top performance at an unbeatable price/performance ratio and is easy to retrofit: The speaker is 100% plug & play and integrates perfectly into VAG models. Connection is via the original connector. The newly developed diaphragm enables a significant performance boost, especially in bass: The specially manufactured, rib-reinforced fiberglass-paper diaphragm is particularly light and rigid. This makes it the ideal basis for a high-quality speaker and, despite its relatively small diaphragm area, ensures a powerful, mature sound: Bass is reproduced with punch, consistent volume, and the necessary dynamics; voices sound full, natural, and nuanced. A very powerful ferrite magnet with a large pole piece vent drives the diaphragm with impressive force. Thanks to its 3-ohm impedance, the UG VAG 180 is particularly efficient – even when used with factory radios/head units without an additional amplifier. 89 dB sensitivity and 100 W music power handling speak for themselves. The fiberglass-reinforced polyamide basket with integrated sealing flange is low-resonance, torsionally rigid, and offers a perfect fit. Thanks to the VAG-specific 6-point mounting system and the characteristic VAG connection terminal, the UG VAG 180 is easy to install. The set includes optional low-pass crossovers for optimal sound tuning within the vehicle. The UG VAG 180 is ideal for combination with the ETON UG VAG 150 (as a rear system) and the UG VAG 25.
