Ampire BTR100X - Bluetooth receiver

If you want to be able to listen to your music, audio books or navigation from your Apple iPhone or Android smartphone wirelessly via Bluetooth in the car in maximum sound quality, then the Bluetooth receivers of the BTR series with aptX® are the solution . You can retrofit wireless A2DP Bluetooth audio streaming to most navigation and car radio systems with Ampire's Bluetooth receiver.

The connection is easy to set up and is automatically reestablished via Bluetooth 4.0. The BTR series uses the Bluetooth protocol for headphones on your smartphone and does not affect the functionality of your Bluetooth hands-free system.

The BTR100X Bluetooth receiver has been developed for navigation and car radio systems with an RCA input (RCA) and a 12-volt on-board electrical system.

Bluetooth® listen in CD quality with aptX®?
As an alternative to the standard Bluetooth®, we also have receivers with the Codec Bluetooth® aptX®. This codec is becoming increasingly popular. If you use devices with the aptX standard, you will significantly improve the sound quality of your Bluetooth streams.

What improves Bluetooth® aptX®?
The aptX® codec uses a more efficient method for compressing the audio data the available bandwidth is used better. The prerequisite for aptX® streams is that the playback device and the transmitter also support Bluetooth aptX®. The function can be recognized by the aptX® lettering on the device. The codec supports common audio formats such as MP3 and FLAC.

Which smartphones support Bluetooth® aptX®?
Not all Android smartphones support the Bluetooth codec aptX®. You can check whether your Android smartphone is compatible in the technical data of your smartphone. An Apple iPhone generally does not support the Bluetooth codec aptX®.

LEARNING DEVICE:

- make sure Bluetooth is switched on on your device
- turn on the ignition
- the LED (6) flashes blue (pairing mode)
- select to connect BTR100X off in the Bluetooth menu of your device
- after successful connection, the LED lights up permanently and a single beep sounds over the audio system

NOTE:
- up to 9 devices can be connected to the BTR100X, but only one device can stream music at a time.
- the BTR100X always remembers the last device learned and connects afterwards automatically after switching on
- a connection to another device must be carried out manually, as described above
- if the connected device is out of range for more than a minute, the connection is automatically interrupted and the BTR100X switches on the pairing mode [the LED (6) flashes]
- can only be used in vehicles and not in continuous operation

OPERATION:
- All settings such as volume, music selection and play/pause are made on your device
- the BTR100X can be installed out of sight because it has no controls or Keys that need to be operated.
