Ampire WFS400-PRO

The CAN/LIN data bus firewall is the first retrofittable immobilizer that communicates bidirectionally exclusively via the CAN/LIN data bus from the car. This digital immobilizer protects your car from theft by extending the range of the keyless key, learning other vehicle keys, hacking the radio code from the vehicle key and even if your own vehicle key is stolen. Only towing is still possible, because a car thief will never be able to drive away with your car. The brand new WFS400-PRO series is the second generation of the CAN firewall and has been optimized, improved and expanded in many functions compared to its predecessor.

The WFS400-PRO does not require any additional remote controls, transponders or driver cards for control. No flashing LED or key fields can lead to conclusions about the hidden installation location of the electronics, which are only 25x20x7mm in size. The system arms itself automatically when the ignition is switched off. Only existing keys on your car are required to defuse it. You determine any 1-15 digit code with the buttons, for example on the steering wheel, the navigation or on the dashboard. To defuse this button code must be pressed before each trip. As easy as the PIN of your EC card.

The new WFS400-PRO sets a new standard with only 0.3mA quiescent current and is therefore >94% lower than its predecessor WFS300. In addition, due to the larger storage capacity, the software for all vehicles is already installed. The new immobilizers are connected to the engine and interior CAN and, if necessary, to the LIN bus and thus offer you a much larger number of possible buttons for PIN entry.

In addition to code entry via buttons, the WFS400-PRO can also be automatically disarmed wirelessly via an optionally available Bluetooth transponder WFST400 or via a smartphone app via a compatible Apple iOS/Android smartphone.

Important operating instructions

In the event of theft, the WFS400, WFS400-SMART, WFS400-LIN, WFS400-PRO and WFS400-SMART-LIN block the vehicle via the data bus from the car. This CAN/LIN data bus blockage can generate an error message in the diagnostic log. For this reason, avoid blocking and testing the function unnecessarily.
