Alpine KIT-802T5 - Einbauset

The 8-inch mounting kit for the Volkswagen T6 & T5 has been specifically designed to overcome the challenge of the extreme low angle of the T6 & T5 dashboard. A sun-visor included in the delivery increases the readability of the display in unfavorable lighting conditions.
All parts for mechanical assembly as well as an adapter, which still supports the steering wheel remote control and the car radio display in the instrument cluster (MFA), are included in delivery. Likewise, with this set the factory comfort functions, such as parking sensors (PDC) and climate display on the X802D-U are displayed. An antenna adapter with phantom power and a power adapter on Power Quadlock are included.

The kit KIT-802T5, combined with the new X802D-U / X802DC-U, offers a topical navigation with navigation arrow display in the multifunction display, paired with DAB +, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility.

Designed for Volkswagen T6 & T5 (7H)
The KIT-802T5 is designed exclusively for installation in the VW T6 & T5 (7H) model year 2009 and newer to overcome the challenge of the extreme low angle of the T6 & T5 dashboard. A sun-visor included in the delivery increases the readability of the display in unfavorable lighting conditions. It adapts to the dashboard with a very high quality frame in black piano finish. The system comes with wiring harness, CAN bus interface and active antenna adapter. The X802D-U is not included with the KIT-802T5 and must be purchased separately.

Support of the multifunction steering wheel
The Alpine system communicates perfectly with the multifunction steering wheel of your vehicle. This means you will not lose this useful feature if you upgrade to the Alpine system. You have control over volume, phone (answer / hang up), track search forwards / backwards and other functions. And if a smartphone is connected to the system, you can even use the steering wheel to activate voice control such as "Siri".

Support of the multifunction display (MFA)
The instrument cluster's multifunction display (MFA) is linked to the Alpine system and can display station names, song title and artist information, caller name, navigation arrows, and more.

Preservation of the visual representation of parking sensors
If your vehicle is equipped with original parking sensors, this functionality is retained when upgrading to the Alpine system. The parking sensor system is connected to the Alpine display to clearly show obstacles when parking the vehicle. The 2nd generation of the Alpine Navigation has a parking sensor display with much improved detail view.

Preservation of the visual representation of the climate indicator
The Alpine system gives you a visual feedback for the selected temperature of the driver and front passenger, climate status, heated seats, selected air vents and much more. This screen automatically appears for a few seconds when any of the named settings is changed.
