The KAX903  This miniature under-mount camera is a high-resolution AHD/CVBS camera with unlimited applications in cars, buses, motorhomes, trucks, or trailers as a front or rear-view camera. The matte black plastic housing is particularly weather-resistant, IP69K waterproof, and very robustly constructed. Two different guide lines (narrow/wide) can be optionally superimposed on the video signal to assist the viewer with parking. The camera comes complete with an 8-meter extension cable with high-quality copper strands.

Note regarding ordering

This camera is configured by default as a high-resolution AHD camera with a resolution of 1080p and 25 frames per second. In AHD mode, this camera can only be connected to AHD-compatible monitors, car stereos, or interfaces. If your monitor's camera input does not support AHD and can only display video signals in CVBS, composite, or NTSC, this camera (purple cable loop) must be set to CVBS.

Important installation instructions 

The camera head is waterproof according to DIN protection class IP69K and does not require additional sealing during installation. The camera lens is made of glass and is fragile. All metal parts are made of stainless steel. Stainless steel is rust-resistant due to its protective chromium oxide layer. However, this layer can be damaged or degraded under certain conditions, which can lead to surface rust.
