KAX505

The KAX505 camera features a high-resolution AHD/CVBS camera integrated into a robust bracket for mounting behind the German EU license plate. The camera's vertical viewing angle is continuously adjustable to accommodate different vehicle angles. The video signal is mirrored for rear mounting. This product is designed specifically for German EU license plates measuring 110x520mm. Please verify compatibility before ordering. For example, Austrian EU license plates are 10mm taller and will not fit the KAX505.

Note regarding ordering

This camera is a high-resolution AHD camera with 1080p resolution and 25 frames per second out of the box. As an AHD camera, it can only be connected to AHD-compatible monitors, car radios, or interfaces. If your monitor's camera input only supports CVBS, composite video, or NTSC, you will need to switch the camera to CVBS mode for NTSC video output.

Important installation instructions

The camera head is waterproof according to DIN protection class IP69K and does not require additional sealing during installation. The camera lens is made of glass and is fragile. All metal parts are made of stainless steel. Stainless steel is rust-resistant due to its protective chromium oxide layer. However, this layer can be damaged or degraded under certain conditions, which can lead to surface rust.
