Information about the quiescent current: The standby function means that a control unit consumes electricity; even complex control units in motor vehicles should not consume more than 2.0mA quiescent current when the vehicle is idle for a longer period of time, e.g. during vacation, the battery is not drained and the vehicle cannot be started. This developed module consumes less than 0.03mA due to the modern and high quality architecture.
Viewing moving pictures while driving is prohibited in many countries by law or liability insurance. In Germany, the driver is responsible without a specific prohibition to ensure that his vision and hearing are not impaired by technical devices. The TV activation should only enable the passenger and other vehicle occupants to use the TV and DVD function while driving.
