Active system adapter Mercedes / Porsche

Active system adapters are used to maintain factory-installed sound systems.

This enables retrofit radios to be connected to an active vehicle system while retaining the OEM amplifier and the connected loudspeakers by adapting, adjusting or converting the output signals of the signal source to the signal input of the OEM amplifier.

Depending on the vehicle and the OEM active system installed, various functions such as faders or sound and subwoofer settings may be omitted.

In individual cases, depending on the OEM system and the retrofit radio, increased hissing or a switching on or off noise may occur.

Check function before final assembly.

• yellow: +12V continuous current terminal 30 
• black: ground terminal 31 
• red: +12V switched ignition current terminal 15 / amp remote / antenna remote

RCA > Front preamp output Aftermarket radio fader function not supported

OEM additional components > Remove CD changer / TV tuner / telephone module from the MOST ring
