Many car manufacturers install their own vehicle-specific radios that are visually adapted to the center console.

Installation kits contain all the components needed to replace an OEM unit.

Depending on the vehicle's equipment, all adapters and interfaces required to operate the retrofit unit and restore vehicle functions are included.

Please note the installation recommendations for the individual components.

In some cases, not all vehicle functions are supported.
For example, Trailer Assist, E-Call, or other driver assistance systems.

Before installation, check the OEM unit and the vehicle menu for various settings.

Depending on the vehicle's equipment, functionality, and software, individual operating functions may be omitted or replaced by other functions.

Compare the adapter connectors shown with those in your vehicle and ensure that they are visually and technically compatible.

Please also check whether one of the specified original factory radios was installed in your vehicle.

Before final assembly, check the vehicle functions, vehicle settings, and steering wheel remote controls for functionality.

General Installation Instructions

Verification:
1: Check all operating functions and vehicle adjustment functions of the OEM device
2: Disassemble the OEM device with the power off
3: Check all interface connections for correctness and continuity with the power off

Connection and connection sequence:
1: Adjust the settings and hardware configuration of the interface with the power off
2: Check the configuration of the radio connection cable
3: Connect the radio connection cable according to the operating instructions for the retrofit device
4: Connect all other connections according to 5: Connect the entire installation to the vehicle, making sure the power is on last. 6: Configure the interface's software according to the instructions in the article text and the user manual. 7: Configure the retrofit device according to the retrofit device's operating instructions for steering wheel remote control/camera/HFCE/antenna phantom power, and more. 8: Test the steering wheel remote control and vehicle for proper function. Changes to the hardware configuration of the interface and the radio connection cable: 1: Make changes with the power off. 2: Connect after changes, see 5 to 8 above. 3: If the interface or vehicle malfunctions: 1: Revert to the OEM device. 2: Operate the OEM device. 3: Establish CAN bus rest. 4: Check the interface's hardware configuration. 5: Connect after CAN bus rest, see 5 to 8 above. />
