The new generation of the 2-DIN Digital Media Station

The iLX-705D is the official successor to the very popular Digital Media Station iLX-702D. We have improved the 2-DIN car radio with numerous new functions, more compatibility, a screen with HD resolution and the world's first class D amplifier in a head unit.

18 cm (7-inch) WXGA HD resolution touchscreen

The iLX-705D features the best 7-inch display we've ever put in a 2-DIN device. This 7-inch HD touchscreen has a resolution of 1280 x 720p (WXGA) and is characterized by amazingly vivid colors and contrasts - so that icons, menus and visual content in your dashboard are presented even more clearly. You will be able to read the display of small text or symbols on navigation maps much better with this high-resolution screen.

Wireless Apple CarPlay

For even more convenience, the iLX-705D offers wireless connection via Apple CarPlay Wireless with the iPhone. This means that iPhone users in the vehicle can leave their phone in their pocket and conveniently make calls, call up and reply to short messages, use music apps and even be navigated. Access to Apple CarPlay is via the capacitive touchscreen or the voice dial button to activate Siri voice control.

2x USB ports

With two USB ports, the Alpine iLX-705D offers you the variety of media you need on your travels. For example, you can use the USB ports on the back of the device to connect a mobile device for charging, while the second USB port connects a USB stick or hard drive to access audio and video files.

Android Auto compatible

Android Auto is designed with road safety in mind and works with the Google Assistant (requires both USB cable and Bluetooth® connection - Android ™ smartphone version 5.0 [ Lollipop] or higher and the Android Auto app). To access Android Auto's Google Assistant, just say "OK Google" or select the microphone button. With the Google Assistant in Android Auto, users can play their favorite music, get directions to their destination, interact with smart home devices, and reply to text messages.

The world's first head unit with an integrated class D amplifier

In addition to the new Halo9 and Halo11, the iLX-705D is the world's first head unit for the aftermarket that has an integrated class D amplifier with 4x 50 watts of power. This amplifier has excellent high-end sound reproduction with extremely reduced noise and barely measurable phase shifts. The main benefit of Class D amplifier technology is the high efficiency of around 90%, compared to 50-70% for Class AB amplifiers. A new cooling concept with internal heat sinks ensures that your Alpine Halo11 always has the right working temperature - and plays your favorite music.

With a 56-band parametric equalizer, digital crossover, 6-channel digital time-delay correction, and multiple Bass Engine SQ presets and MediaXpander sound tuning options, you have excellent options to customize your Alpine Halo11 or connected perfectly tune amplifier/loudspeaker systems. But that's not all: Alpine's Halo11 car radio is Hi-Res Audio certified and can decode and convert Hi-Res audio files up to 96 kHz / 1,536 kbps from uncompressed USB sources with formats such as FLAC, WAV and APE. p>

Diverse entertainment options

The completely newly developed 1.5-way DAB+/FM/AM tuner allows you to switch between DAB and FM and lets you enjoy seamless radio reception without interruptions. The optional reversing camera systems offer even more safety with the latest camera technology. External wireless volume control with camera activation

The RUE-BK01 control knob, sold separately, has its origins in the Alpine Halo 2022 series and can also be used with the iLX-705D (cannot be attached to the device). This gives you the opportunity to place the remote control at your desired location in the vehicle. No additional cable needs to be laid. Turning the knob adjusts the volume of the main unit. By pressing the button, the rear view camera can be activated on the screen while driving. Note: This control button is not active when the Apple CarPlay wireless function is activated.
