The coming years at ESX will be dominated by sophisticated sound tuning: Dominic Langenberg, one of the most innovative and competent sound engineers in the field of digital sound enhancement, has been recruited specifically for this purpose and has brought the new ESX DSP generation to series production with great enthusiasm. The two digital sound processors from the   DIRECTIONseries mark the start of the new DSP (r)evolution from ESX.

Finest selected components, optimally tuned and combined into an ingenious overall concept, perfectly adjustable down to the smallest detail with the newly developed PC software, will make sound enthusiasts respectfully click their tongues. With the optional Bluetooth 5.0 upgrade set BT-D, the app version of the ESX DSP   Toolkit can also be used live and in real time from a smartphone—HD audio streaming included. The LCD remote control RC-DQ, available as an accessory, offers additional ease of use.

Thanks to state-of-the-art analog/digital converters from AKM Velvet Sound™, the sound processing of the Analog Devices™ 32-bit/295 MHz DSP chips takes place in the Full HD audio range at 96 kHz. In addition to audiophile aspects, smooth integration into modern vehicles was also taken into account. EPS PRO protection circuitry and high-level inputs with auto turn-on (jumper-selectable from 1-15 V or 15-40 V) as well as balanced RCA low-level outputs with 6 V/RMS are included as standard.
