The 8-inch installation kits for the VW platforms (MIB-PQ / Golf 6 - Seat, Skoda and VW) makes the installation of the X802D-U much easier. All parts for mechanical assembly as well as an adapter, which still supports the steering wheel remote control and the car radio display in the instrument cluster (MFA) incl. Navigation arrows, are included in delivery. Likewise, with this set the factory comfort functions, such as parking sensors (PDC) and climate display on the X802D-U are displayed.

An antenna adapter with phantom power and a power quadlock adapter are included.

Designed for the VW platform (MIB-PQ & RNS radio - Seat, Skoda and VW)
The kit KIT-7VWTX300, combined with the new INE-W710D / INE-W710DC, offers a topical navigation with navigation arrow display in the multifunction display, paired with DAB +, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility.

Support the steering wheel remote control
The Alpine system communicates perfectly with the multifunction steering wheel of your vehicle. This means you will not lose this useful feature if you upgrade to the Alpine system. You have control over volume, phone (answer / hang up), track search forwards / backwards and other functions. And if a smartphone is connected to the system, you can even use the steering wheel to activate voice control such as "Siri".

Multifunction display (MFA)
The instrument cluster's multifunction display (MFA) is linked to the Alpine system and can display station names, song title and artist information, caller name, navigation arrows, and more.

Preservation of the visual representation of parking sensors
If your vehicle is equipped with original parking sensors, this functionality is retained when upgrading to the Alpine system. The parking sensor system is connected to the Alpine display to clearly show obstacles when parking the vehicle. The current generation of Alpine navigation devices has a parking sensor display with significantly improved detail view.

Preservation of the visual representation of the climate indicator
The Alpine system gives you a visual feedback for the selected temperature of the driver and front passenger, climate status, heated seats, selected air vents and much more. This screen automatically appears for a few seconds when any of the named settings is changed.

Compatible vehicles:

1 * Only for vehicles with white multi-function display (MFA) or newer.
2 * If your original radio has a CAR button, this KIT is not compatible.

Note:On vehicles with white MFA, which have no screen, it may be necessary to program the vehicle to allow visualization. Please contact an authorized dealer or service workshop.
