Coaxial speakers are often a major challenge when it comes to integrating them into an OEM system. For this reason, and to achieve good performance, our R & D team used a new 24mm Tweeter Tetolon® membrane in the 2-way CX 165 coaxial system, which is far superior to other commonly used materials like plastic the detailed reproduction of musical material goes. Optimized for off-axis operation and equipped with the SPP-M diaphragm, which has perfect acoustic and dampening characteristics, the CX 165 is the perfect choice if you have high demands on a coaxial loudspeaker.

1. 24mm Soft Tetolon® tweeter with 20mm voice coil, cooled by ferrofluid for a rich and natural reproduction of high frequencies.
2. RHFC ™ (Rotary High Frequency Contour) Tweeter that can be perfectly aligned for optimal playback in off-axis operation.
3. The design and geometry of the tweeter faceplate has been optimized with FEM (Finite Element Modeling) simulations for a linear frequency response, even in off-axis installations.
4. The midrange woofer has a 25mm voice coil mounted on an aluminum carrier which provides good thermal capacity and high deflection.
5. 165mm single pressed SPP-M membrane (Pressed Paper-Mica) extended with Mica powder for an excellent balance between weight and cushioning.
6. High density ferrite magnet combined with low carbon pole plates for reduced distortion.
7. Compact 3-spoke basket with a magnetic protection made of rubber which ensures a good decoupling of vibrations of any kind.
8. Elegant, high loadable ABS ABS plastic speaker grille with metallic finishing and a metal grille.
