The installation of retrofit speakers in original slots which allow only a small installation depth is a known problem which installation specialists to make intricate mechanical changes to make an increased expenditure of time with it.

The solution for this is the new, flat Cento C165 F midrange driver, which thanks to its super-flat speaker basket with reduced depth can be used even in the most problematic installation situations, now widely used in new vehicles.

The R & D team was able to create a low-midrange driver that combined high performance with low installation depth. This was made possible by optimizing the deflection of the vibrating unit and the new design of the membrane-Dustcap geometry. Like the other speakers in the Cento line, the C165 F uses the SPP-M (Semi-Pressed Paper-Mica) membrane, which impresses with its low weight, high efficiency and extended frequency range.
