Musway CSM-120X - 12cm 2-Wege Coax für Mercedes

Specially developed for Mercedes Benz W124 drivers who are looking for "the BEST loudspeaker" for their vehicle. Drivers of this classic in particular are often looking for a very good sounding replacement when the original loudspeakers bless the time before the engine. Exactly for this reason MUSWAY developed these excellent sounding 12 cm loudspeakers.

Since many W124 drivers repeatedly complain that the retrofit models currently available on the market do not sound much better than the original factory loudspeakers and that they quickly "fail" at high volumes, great importance was attached to precisely these points when developing the CSM120X. The goal of combining brilliant sound with significantly higher level stability (i.e. higher volume) was achieved, which was not the case with the 12 cm models available up to now.

LINEAR HUB & MAXIMUM LEVEL

The convincing performance was only achieved by using a newly designed basket that can accommodate a significantly larger spider (damper) and thus more linear diaphragm stroke can be generated as a result. The linear deflection, which is roughly twice as high, has an extremely positive effect on the maximum level. Where other 12 cm models are already "at their limit", the new CSM120X goes much further and goes a long way. But that's not all, because higher maximum levels stress the membrane in continuous operation and often lead to distorted sound. For this reason, a special glass fiber membrane was developed that remains almost distortion-free even at high volumes. No savings were made in the high frequency range either: a specially coated aluminum tweeter has been refined in terms of sound in such a way that it still plays very linearly well above 20,000 Hz. The result of this development work can be heard and seen, the CSM120X is the perfect W124 loudspeaker!
