The center of the 2-way coaxial system ATS-B101X is the 10 cm midrange driver, equipped with the new, specially manufactured CRYSTAX membrane.
It consists of a very harmonious sounding, highly damping paper membrane with a coating of extremely hard quartz crystals .
These crystals ensure the desired precision of the sound with their extremely high step response.
The powerful neodymium magnet provides the necessary power and supports the defined, clear sound.
The entire oscillating unit - membrane with rubber bead , Nomex spider and 1" inch voice coil - are securely held in the newly constructed composite basket in the distinctive AXTON design.
The basket offers excellent stability despite the filigree struts, which at the same time offer the rear sound enough room to develop and reflections
Equipped with a precise-sounding 19 mm aluminum membrane, clamped in a slightly damping fabric surround, the tweeter of the ATS-B101X delivers exact music details with an extremely pleasant sound.
The special dome geometry ensures this that the tweeter offers the best performance in the respective installation positions of the different vehicles.
In this way, you experience a constant high-frequency level and a fantastic spatial depth in every seating position.
As a supplement to the coaxial system, there are two tailor-made, vehicle-specific 8" / 20 cm underseat subwoofers from AXTON - ATS-BSUB2 (2 ohms) and ATS-BSUB4 (4 ohms) - for a defined, impressively powerful bass.

The SPECIFIC series for BMW vehicles consists of a total of eight models.
Three compos and coax systems each for the different vehicle models as well as two variants of underseat basses with 2 ohm or 4 ohm voice coil.

THE TWEETER

Equipped with an analytically precise 19 mm aluminum membrane, clamped in a slightly dampening fabric surround, this tweeter delivers exact music details with an extremely pleasant sound.
The geometry of the dome is chosen to offer the best performance in the given installation position of the vehicle.
This means you get a constant high-frequency level and a fantastic spatial depth over a wide area in the vehicle.
The dome is framed by a stable contact protection in the unique AXTON design.

THE MIDRANGE

Sounds that get under your skin: that's what we strive for. We use a new technology as a membrane, a special mix of materials consisting of an acoustically very harmonious and highly damping paper membrane with a coating of extremely hard quartz crystals. With their enormously high step response, these crystals ensure the desired precision of the sound image.
We call this special membrane CRYSTAX. The entire oscillating unit, i.e. the cone with rubber surround, the Nomex spider and the 1 inch voice coil, are held securely in the newly constructed composite basket in the distinctive Axton design.
This new basket offers excellent stability despite the filigree struts, which in turn offer the rear sound enough space to unfold and reduce reflections.
The powerful yet compact neodymium magnet provides the necessary power and the defined sound with impressive clarity.
