The ATS-BSUB2 underseat bass speaker is a perfect addition to the BMW-compatible AXTON speaker systems to retrofit an underseat subwoofer in a BMW or to replace a factory system.
The powerful subwoofer pair is suitable for mounting under the seats , fits perfectly into the original installation locations and can be installed thanks to Plug & Simply connect the Play connection terminal to the original plug.
The 20 cm woofer of the ATS-BSUB2 is equipped with a reinforced variant of the new AXTON CRYSTAX membrane.
It consists of a very harmonious-sounding, highly damping paper membrane with a coating made of extremely hard quartz crystals.
These crystals ensure the desired precision of the sound image with their extremely high step response.
The entire oscillating unit - membrane with rubber surround, Nomex spider and 2" voice coil (2 ohms) - is safe kept in the newly constructed composite basket in the striking AXTON design.
The basket, together with the metal carrier, offers excellent stability and almost unhindered sound radiation.
The powerful neodymium magnet provides the necessary power and a defined sound , impressively strong bass with a lot of depth.

Three compos and coax systems each for the different vehicle models as well as two variants of underseat basses with 2 ohm or 4 ohm voice coil.

THE SUBWOOFER

We use a new technology for the cone, a special mix of materials consisting of a stiffened paper cone with a coating of extremely hard quartz crystals.

The entire oscillating unit, i.e. the membrane with rubber surround, the Nomex spider and the 2 inch voice coil are securely held in the newly constructed composite basket in the distinctive Axton design.
This new basket, together with the metal carrier, offers excellent stability despite the filigree struts, which in turn offer the sound enough space to develop and reduce reflections.
