Impressive sound and optimal vehicle integration - the EM-VWRX155 is a 15.5 cm (6") plug & play 2-way speaker set for easy replacement of the standard speakers, especially in the rear, and is compatible with many Volkswagen, Seat, Skoda, and Cupra vehicles. The coaxial system from EMPHASER's UNIVERSE series is acoustically tuned to the VAG models and impresses with its absolute precision: All connections are made via the original vehicle connectors.
The new CRYSTALGRAIN compound cone of the woofer/midrange driver is responsible for the natural, warm sound of the EM-VWRX155: It combines the high rigidity and damping effect of paper with the direct step response of the quartz crystals mounted on the top. The low resonances, optimized damping, and wide frequency response result in precise, nuanced sound reproduction.
The cone thickness is selected to provide the necessary stability for powerful bass attacks and the lightness for precise mid-range. Thanks to a 2-ohm voice coil and powerful ferrite magnet, the speaker system extracts maximum power from the amplifier or radio. The EMPHASER-designed speaker basket impresses with its high stability and precise fit.
The fabric dome of the 20 mm tweeter offers many advantages, such as low distortion, even dispersion, and a natural, warm sound. These properties contribute to the reproduction of music in all its clarity and brilliance.
