The HELIX COMPOSE i5 series is the link between i7 and i3, created for discerning music lovers with a burning ambition for a true hi-fi experience. A fusion of phenomenal sound and unmatched practicality: developed with the vision of unique speaker highlights that are also true problem solvers. The impedances of all speakers are perfectly matched to our HELIX and MATCH amplifiers, guaranteeing maximum performance and power output at all times. In addition, we have implemented our COMPOSE-exclusive mechanical technologies, which offer unmatched practical benefits.

Audiophile full-range performance with flexible integration options
The Ci5 M50FM-S3 expands the COMPOSE platform with a sophisticated 50 mm full-range speaker that scores with its exceptionally compact design: Thanks to its significantly reduced outer diameter compared to typical 50 mm speakers and FlexMount technology, the Ci5 M50FM-S3 can be easily installed even in tight OEM installation spaces. This makes it particularly suitable for installation positions where space restrictions, unfavorable dispersion angles, or factory specifications make classic two- or three-way applications difficult.
Thanks to its exceptionally wide frequency range, it enables setups that do not require a separate tweeter. Its high level stability and clear, low-distortion high-frequency reproduction also make it the ideal solution for center applications, high-performance full-range systems, and DSP-based setups that require outstanding sound quality in a minimal space.

Smart design for maximum efficiency, dynamics, and detail resolution
The exceptional performance of the Ci5 M50FM-S3 is based on a number of precisely tuned design features. The specially shaped rubber surround and innovative magnet system enable an unusually large linear diaphragm excursion for this size, ensuring impressive level stability and extremely low distortion reproduction. This combination also forms the basis for an exceptionally smooth, wide-band frequency response for a 50 mm driver, without the typical peaks or dips found in many compact full-range speakers. At the same time, the particularly large diaphragm area with a significantly reduced outer diameter (compared to typical 50 mm speakers) maximizes performance and gives the full-range speaker remarkable dynamics. Another
key to its detailed high-frequency reproduction is the aluminum dust cap connected directly to the voice coil. Its lightweight and rigid construction improves impulse response up to the highest frequency ranges and gives the Ci5 M50FM-S3 its exceptional transparency and resolution. The silicate-coated paper diaphragm ensures high internal damping, a natural, precise sound character, and suppresses unwanted resonances. The overall technical concept is complemented by the powerful push-pull neodymium magnet system, which, thanks to efficient magnet guidance, both increases efficiency and reduces distortion to a minimum – the basis for clean, confident sound performance even at demanding levels.

High-tech polymer
composite basketThe Ci5 M50FM-S3's speaker basket is made from a high-tech polymer composite material, which has been additionally reinforced with glass beads. The result: maximum stability with minimal resonance, which also prevents flux modulation of the magnet system and provides maximum resistance to thermal influences. Finally, this enables significantly more compact basket dimensions and thus simplified installation in confined spaces.

FlexMount50 – universal meets vehicle-specific
FlexMount is a mounting system based on specially developed adapter rings that allows COMPOSE FlexMount speakers to be installed in an almost infinite number of vehicles. This transforms the universal speaker into a vehicle-specific speaker in no time at all, which can be easily installed in the original mounting position of any vehicle with the appropriate FlexMount ring for optimal acoustics.
