The  MERCURY MR  bandpass systems belong to a new generation of speakers, which were developed with a particular focus on good bass reproduction with high efficiency and compact dimensions. Since appearance was also an important consideration, the woofers were given a chrome finish, which creates beautiful lighting effects, especially in the illuminated inner chambers, which can be switched between blue and white. The heavy-duty bandpass speakers are equipped with powerful long-throw woofers that have been optimized for outputs of up to 800 watts RMS. The MR8DUAL dual bandpass  system is somewhat unusual. The cabinet is equipped with the FlexPort feature, which allows the reflex channel opening to be left open either at the front or at the rear via a removable cover.
