Anyone who has ever "felt" subwoofers of this class knows how much fun bass can be. It's like engine displacement or torque in a car—you can never have enough. The Colossus subwoofers deliver their tremendous power thanks to triple magnets, double centering and aluminum domes. Thanks to the cast aluminum basket, stitched surround and the use of robust special adhesive, everything is rock-solid and durable. Huge 4" (100 mm) dual 2-ohm voice coils are wound with a special aluminum and copper wire that can withstand temperatures of up to 220°C. This allows for loads of up to 4500 watts RMS and even a maximum of 9000 watts of impulse power. Last but not least: the 30 cm heavyweight generates approx. 151 dB sound pressure in a vehicle with a volume of approx. 75 liters, while the 38 cm powerhouse achieves approx. 154 dB in a volume of 100 liters!
