ESX VX15PRO - 38cm subwoofer

Powerful and impressive are the attributes of the new ESX VISION VX PRO  These monsters, whose weight of around 20 kg is apparent as soon as you unpack them  , signal the class they are in.
The subs come in sizes of 10, 12, and 15 inches. With outputs of 2,500 to 3,500 watts RMS, they also require appropriate amplifiers,
which can be found in the equally new  VISION VX PRO  amplifier series with outputs ranging from 1,250 to 13,000 watts RMS.
Only the highest quality components found their way into the newly designed  VX PRO  models.
All of them are constructed from heavy cast aluminum baskets with triple magnets. Absolutely dimensionally
stable membranes are very important for woofers of this large caliber. ESX uses the best, but
also the most expensive, 3-layer composite membranes made of carbon, hardened cotton, and fiberglass.
This combination results in maximum stability with minimum weight, enabling the diaphragms to withstand the enormous pressure generated by the powerful 300-ounce magnetic drives. The design
is further stabilized by a carbon dust cap.
In order to be able to absorb a lot of power, ESX also makes no compromises when it comes to voice coils and uses a 76 mm CCAR coil in the 10" model, while the two larger models even feature 100 mm coils.
CCAR coils consist of aluminum flat wire with copper sheathing, a highly resilient combination that also saves weight and thus increases efficiency.
The generous winding height of 58 mm on all models allows a linear membrane stroke of up to +/- 23 mm. Excellent!
