HELIX IK S12
With the HELIX IK S subwoofers, the realization of particularly flat and compact housing designs is no longer a problem. The extremely low installation depth opens up new installation options that do not require any acoustic compromises. Above all, thanks to the use of large voice coils and the low resonance frequency, the HELIX IK S series delivers an absolutely superior bass performance, which is in no way inferior to larger woofers.
In love with detail and well thought out
The enormously torsion-resistant sandwich paper cone in conjunction with our heavy-duty drive system converts amplifier power without compression effects into powerful sound pressure in no time at all, but also demonstrates sensitivity with subtle beats.
Special highlight: The magnet system has a threaded hole on the back and enables the woofer to be screwed to the rear panel of the housing. Since every millimeter of overall depth counts in flat constructions, housing vibrations are effectively reduced even with thin walls.
Flexible connection
Due to the design as a 1 x 2 ohm (SVC2) or 2 x 2 ohm (DVC2) variant, the right low-bass specialist can be found for every amplifier configuration in order to be able to get the maximum performance out of it.
"All inclusive" for self-made enthusiasts
In addition to the high-quality housing connection terminal with gold-plated screw connections, a solid protective grille and a cover ring are also included in the scope of delivery. For optimal bass performance with DIY installations, our technical data sheet includes recommendations for closed and bass reflex cabinets with all parameters such as net volume, tunnel tuning frequency or DSP settings.
