The new technology is easy to explain: the DBX208BPA active speaker is designed as a bandpass system in which the sound pressure emerges from a large port. The special feature of the design is the internal bass channel, which directs the sound either to the front or to the rear. Depending on the application, the rear cover of the port, which is designed as a sturdy aluminum shield, can also be screwed onto the front opening. This alternative mounting activates the rear channel opening and allows the entire sound pressure to be directed into the passenger compartment through the ski bag opening. The dual speakers can reach their full potential, especially in convertibles or notchback vehicles. Simply ingenious!

The active box is particularly impressive in convertibles with small trunks, as it does not require any additional space. The integrated  POWER4  module also offers all the modern features that are necessary in many vehicles today. In addition to start/stop, the variable EPS®  Pro is also included to outsmart the fault diagnosis of various vehicles. With over 400 watts RMS and excellent efficiency, the Class D amplifier drives the woofers optimally. The bass level can also be conveniently controlled from the driver's seat using the remote control.
