But they don't just look good, they also significantly improve the stability of the construction. There are practically no vibrations in the material.
An important aspect of subwoofers is the drive, which in the  SXE  models: all three sizes use heavy double magnets, which in turn drive long-wound dual voice coils with 2+2 ohm impedance.
The dual voice coils make the subwoofers very versatile: whether connected to a 1-ohm stable monoblock or conventional 2- or 4-channel power amplifiers, the woofers are very well suited to pretty much all amplifiers on the market thanks to their variable impedance.
