Alpine PDP-E802DSP - Digital 8-channel DSP amplifier

The PDP-E802DSP is the second generation of Alpine's 8-channel digital DSP amplifier. This unique all-in-one solution can be used very versatile and offers with its connection options, Sound upgrades < /span>for almost every vehicle.
Over 6 input channels (preamplifier and loudspeaker ) and up to 8 freely configurable output channels various systems can be implemented with a high level of flexibility. The PDP-E802DSP can be connected to the PDP-E802DSP via WiFi or USB for easy system setup via Alpine PC software. The very intuitive and easy-to-use software enables full control over all setting options and displays the information on a very clear graphical user interface.
With the free "Alpine Remote Control App" for the PDP-E802DSP (available for Android and iPhone) you can control the most important functions such as master volume, subwoofer level, source selection, preset settings and much more.

Sensible further developments have been incorporated into this versatile DSP amplifier for easy installation and better sound quality.
The newly developed input circuit for noise reduction as well as a newly developed pre-out for an additional subwoofer amplifier now ensure better sound reproduction and more flexibility during installation.

Other improvements include better WLAN stability, a refined setting behavior on RUX-KNOB2 , as well as an automatic adjustment of the power supply depending on the load and volume. The new automatic impedance measurement protects your device from electrical damage in the event of incorrect connection and overload.

Configure your own sound system

You can freely configure the 8 output channels according to your needs. Each channel delivers 100 watts into 4 ohms (maximum 700 watts total output) and can be configured to be used as a tweeter, midrange, center or woofer channel. You can also use two channels in parallel for a powerful 200 watt subwoofer. The PDP-E802DSP features digital crossovers, so you don't have to worry about installing passive crossovers throughout the vehicle. With a frequency range of 20 Hz to 22 kHz on all channels, you can create practically any system.

Extensive sound tuning options

With the Alpine DSP amplifier you get an instant professional sound studio: With a parametric 240 band -Equalizer (30 bands per channel) allows you to adjust the sound in great detail. You also get 8-channel digital delay correction and 8-channel digital crossover for the perfect channel setup. With the freely selectable routing, you can, for example, combine several channels to create a center channel.  

Real Class-D technology

The Alpine DSP amplifier uses Class D amplification technology: This means that as soon as an analog input signal in When a digital signal is converted, it remains fully digital throughout the processing and amplification phase. With Class-D technology, an amplifier can achieve much higher efficiency - which means lower heat generation and smaller heatsinks. This results in a very small, compact housing that can be easily placed in the vehicle (205mm x 150mm x 50mm).  

Wireless Control Panel

Load the  "Alpine Remote Control App" for your iPhone or Android smartphone to control all important functions on the go. This allows you to control the most important functions such as master volume, subwoofer level, source selection, preset settings and much more via smartphone. Even a day and a night mode is available for this. The app can be downloaded for free from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store.  

Start-Stop compatible

The PDP-E802DSP stays fully operational even when your car is in start-stop mode. That means no unintended disconnects when you're at an intersection or in a stop-and-go situation.  

Bass Knob available

With the optionally available Alpine RUX-KNOB2  you can adjust the subwoofer level or the master volume of your PDP-E802DSP.  

Wireless audio playback

If you are using an Android phone, you can use the Alpine PDP's micro USB connection to E802DSP Lossless transmission and playback of audio files in full bandwidth. You can also connect your phone to the DSP amplifier via WiFi (the wireless module is included with the PDP-E802DSP). We recommend the "USB Audio Player Pro App" for Android for this application.
