Since powerful bass reproduction requires a lot of power, a little extra is always welcome. That's why professionals in SPL applications usually use power ratings above the kilowatt limit. The two new MERCURY EVO models from HiFonics meet these requirements precisely, as they can deliver up to 2000 watts RMS at one ohm. During development, particular emphasis was placed on high efficiency, which reaches an impressive 90% at full load at 4 ohms. This means that almost no energy is wasted, which also benefits battery life.
