The CAN firewall is the first retrofittable immobilizer that communicates bidirectionally from the car exclusively via the CAN / LIN data bus. This digital immobilizer protects your car from theft by extending the range of the keyless key, learning additional vehicle keys, hacking the radio code from the vehicle key and even if your own vehicle key is stolen. Only towing is still possible, because a car thief will never be able to drive away with their car. The brand new WFS400-LIN and WFS400-SMART-LIN are the second generation of the CAN firewall and have been optimized, improved and expanded in many functions compared to their predecessor.
The WFS400-LIN does not require any additional remote controls, transponders or driver cards. No flashing LEDs or keypads can lead to conclusions about the hidden installation location of the electronics, which are only 25x20x7mm. The system is armed automatically when the ignition is switched off. Exclusively existing buttons on your car are used to defuse the situation. You determine any 1-15 digit code with buttons on the steering wheel, the navigation system or on the dashboard. To deactivate this key code must be pressed before every journey. As easy as entering the PIN on your EC card.
The new WFS400 sets a new standard with only 0.3mA quiescent current and is therefore> 94% lower than its predecessor WFS300. In addition, due to the larger storage capacity, the software is already installed for all vehicles. The new immobilizers are connected to the engine and interior CAN and thus offer you a much larger number of possible buttons for PIN entry.
In addition to the WFS400-LIN (code entry only), we also have the WFS400-SMART-LIN in our range. You can deactivate this immobilizer either by entering the code using the buttons or wirelessly using a Bluetooth transponder or smartphone app. To do this, use either one of the two Bluetooth transponders supplied or a compatible Apple iOS / Android smartphone. The WFS400-LIN is particularly suitable for vehicles that do not move regularly, because without a Bluetooth transmission, the immobilizer's consumption of electricity from dysentery drops significantly.
Of course, the immobilizers have been tested for electromagnetic compatibility, have CE and E approval and are registered with WEEE and LUCID.
