ALARM ZONES

The Ampire CAN bus alarm system secures your vehicle optimally via 6 separate alarm zones. With the "NPC" anti-false alarm function, individual zones are automatically ignored in the event of a malfunction. The long-term memory enables you to read out the two alarm zones that were the last to trigger an alarm at any time.

• Alarm zone 1: Triggered when opening the bonnet / trunk (via CAN)
• Alarm zone 2: triggered by strong impacts via the integrated shock sensor (sensitivity adjustable)
• Alarm zone 3: triggered when the doors are opened (via CAN)
• Alarm zone 4: triggered via optional sensor (analog)
• Alarm zone 5: triggered when the ignition is switched on (via CAN)
• Alarm zone 6: triggering via optional alarm contact (analog)

Advance warnings through light impacts (via the integrated shock sensor) or through the optional sensor are not switched off as an alarm zone.

SIREN

This ultra-compact siren with ferrite magnet is the best and loudest siren in our range. The siren has 6 different siren tones that are played one after the other and change every 5 seconds. All 6 siren tones can be switched off individually or their order can be changed. In addition, the volume of the siren chirping during
Sharpening and disarming can be set using the "Soft Chirp" function.

SETTINGS

You can change the most important operating settings yourself with the service button integrated in the LED. This is faster and more extensive with the optionally available "Bitwriter" programming device. It can simply be plugged into the serial "ESP" interface.
This allows you to enter a code for the alarm system or to lock the settings through manual external access.

LEGAL NOTICE

We recommend activating the siren tones when arming / disarming (menu item 1-2). As a user of the alarm system, you will receive acoustic messages about the status of the alarm system. You will be informed by quiet siren tones (siren chirping) whether the alarm system has been properly armed. An acoustic error message (siren chirping) would report an open door, manipulated alarm sensor, etc. immediately. However, this siren chirping is within the EU
not permitted. The EU guidelines only allow a constant siren tone in the event of a break-in lasting <30 seconds.

FIRMWARE NOTICE

The CAN bus alarm systems are of course delivered without vehicle-specific firmware. Because the alarm systems can read and write on the data bus, the firmware is much more complex and must first be loaded with the BL400 programming device "Bootloader". We are happy to install the appropriate firmware for you free of charge. When ordering, please state the exact vehicle type and year of construction. It is also important whether the vehicle has a comfort access (Smart Key).

INSTALLATION NOTE

The optionally available 508A radar sensor cannot be connected directly to the 4-pin sensor socket of the CAN3903. The power consumption of the  508A is too high for that. Connect the power lines of the 508A directly to permanent positive and the "Ground when armed" output.

NOTE ABOUT THE INTERNET BROWSER

Please only use Microsoft Internet Explorer with the XpressVIP 4.3 (ActiveX) software to install the firmware on the CAN3903V alarm system. Other browsers are not automatically supported and errors may occur.

NOTE ON EQUIPMENT

Depending on the vehicle type and equipment, additional costs for assembly, adaptations and data bus modules may arise if you want to control the vehicle and start it remotely.
